Client: Mutti
Web & Mobile Platform
ARSERA had the opportunity to collaborate with Mutti, an excellence in the agri-food sector, for the implementation of the Store Check project. This was made possible by the agency Good S.r.l. of Milan, which played the role of project manager and is still responsible for application support activities.
The partnership focused on developing a web and mobile platform dedicated to the Client’s sales department, operating in Italy as well as in other countries. The main purpose of the developed software is to provide a quick and immediate tool for surveying the sales prices of items produced by Mutti and its competitors.
Developed projects
Each item is easily recognized by the mobile application through the scanning of the related EAN code. The survey is completed by the user by adding other information such as the point of sale, the format, the shelf positioning, and any optional notes.
Store Check ensures the authentication of each user through the integration with the company’s Active Directory, allowing the Client to independently control access to the platform. This approach promotes centralized access management, harmonizing the authentication logic with that of the company’s other information systems.
All collected data are automatically sent to the server where they can be easily viewed and processed through the dedicated Back-office application. From here, the collected informations are also verified and made available to all operators based on their privileges. Finally, the database has been integrated with Mutti’s Business Intelligence systems to complement these data collection activities with the power of analytical operations useful for gathering strategic insights.
ARSERA carried out significant work in studying the User Experience of the software, especially on the mobile side, to make the application truly simple and intuitive to use. Additionally, a very sophisticated algorithm was developed to allow Store Check to be fully functional even without Internet connectivity. This means that in situations where network access is unavailable, the software can proceed with data collection and storage, then automatically synchronize all the collected data once the connection is reestablished. This innovation ensures essential operational continuity, eliminating interruptions and delays in the workflow.
The implementation of the Good Store Check project marked a significant step forward in the collaboration between ARSERA and Mutti, demonstrating how technology can be a valuable ally in the agri-food sector to effectively meet present and future challenges. We are proud to have contributed to this success, reaffirming our commitment to seeking innovative solutions that can make a difference.
