Fresco Break
FrescoBreak is a service for the distribution of fresh food products by means of “smart” refrigerators.
These are intelligent distributors which can monitor the sale of products thanks to RFID technology. FrescoBreak can be found in offices, accommodation locations, gyms, and health centers.
It stands out from other vending machine services for the quality of the products sold and the high technological level offered by the solution at the service of the consumer.
FrescoBreak was born with the desire to promote a healthy and fresh diet, starting from a range of high-quality products where this need is strongest, such as in the workplace, where eating healthy and in a brief time improves productivity and wellbeing.
How does it work?
Through the FrescoBreak mobile app, users scan the QR ID code displayed on the refrigerator, to start the purchase process. The cabinet is unlocked, and can be opened to pick up the desired products
Once the door is closed, the refrigeration unit informs the web portal which products have been removed.
The system sends the payment request to the user via the mobile app.
Users pays directly by withdrawing from their own personal rechargeable electronic wallet.
How does the administrative management system work?
Thanks to the web portal, FrescoBreak manages all orders received, refunds, and invoicing, and monitors the inventory of each of their cabinets in real time.

Authentication within the platform (web and mobile) as well as testing and crash analyses are managed via Google Firebase.
FrescoBreak relies on the Authentication module of Google and Firebase, allowing users to log in after registering via an email and password, or thanks to their personal accounts with Google, Apple, or Facebook.
Payments are managed through integration with Stripe, while credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay are also supported.
